The textile and clothing industry is one of Morocco’s national industry champions. Its development is part of the "Made in Morocco" promotion initiative and is based on the emergence of integrated models ranging from production to distribution.

This vision is consolidated by a good commercial performance that benefits the country with an export turnover of 36.9 billion Dirhams (~$3.8 billion) and an added value of 7%.

In addition to the production of more than a billion items per year, worth 45 billion dirhams (~ 4.6 billion US dollars), and an ambitious goal to develop textile upstream, Morocco also plans to reduce supply logistics costs for purchasers in order to further consolidate the assets of sector at the exports level.
